How we designed Manon

With any shoe, the first key step is finding the right factory to partner with. Based in Portugal, our factory's generations of shoemaking knowledge have been vital in helping us develop a shoe that excels in barefoot feel and function, while being crafted from natural materials and built to last. Our factory and founders have a combined 250+ years of shoe manufacturing knowledge. The result is a shoe built with an Italian cow leather upper, an anatomically accurate barefoot last, an interior fully lined in goat leather for comfort with or without socks, and a hand-stitched rubber outsole.
